The Challenge

Turbo Service International (TSI) is a global marine and power turbocharger service and parts supplier, with over 35 years as a market leader. Despite their depth of expertise, their website was working against them.

The existing site had grown to 44 pages, creating an overwhelming experience for users and contributing to a high bounce rate. More importantly, the structure did not support the business’s primary objective of generating sales enquiries. With only five calls to action across the entire site, users were often left without a clear next step.

Key challenges included:

Overcomplex navigation and content sprawl
Poor alignment between page volume and conversion intent
Missed opportunities to capture inbound enquiries

Our Approach

We focused on simplification without dilution. The goal was to unify TSI’s extensive offering into a clearer, more intentional structure while preserving the credibility and authority built over decades.

 

Starting with user journeys and commercial intent, we restructured the site around what prospective customers actually needed to see, understand, and do. Every page earned its place, and every interaction had a purpose. This approach ensured consistency across the experience while allowing individual services to stand on their own clearly and confidently.

Key updates included:

Reduced the site from 44 pages to 12 high-impact pages
Redesigned the information architecture to prioritise clarity and flow
Increased calls to action from 5 to 8, aligned to key decision points
Created clearer pathways for sales enquiries
Improved usability for both new and returning customers

The Outcome

Following the redesign, TSI benefited from a website that was easier to navigate, clearer in its messaging, and far more aligned with its commercial goals.

Key updates included:

A 54% increase in event sign-ups
A 40% boost in mobile traffic engagement
2x more time spent per visitor
Class bookings made 3x faster with new UI
Positive feedback from instructors, attendees, and dance partners
